Description

We are looking for a talented and analytical Petroleum Geophysicist to join our exploration team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting geophysical surveys and analyzing seismic data to identify potential oil and gas reserves. You will work closely with geologists, engineers, and other specialists to evaluate subsurface formations and guide exploration and drilling activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct geophysical surveys and interpret seismic data to identify subsurface structures that may contain oil and gas.
  • Work with geologists to integrate geophysical data with geological models and refine drilling targets.
  • Analyze data from seismic, well, and surface surveys to predict the potential of oil and gas reservoirs.
  • Use geophysical software (e.g., GeoFrame, SeisWare) to process and interpret seismic data.
  • Collaborate with other exploration team members to evaluate new exploration opportunities.

    Education

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related field.
