Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Reservoir Engineer to join our oil and gas exploration team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and optimizing the production of oil and gas reservoirs. You will use reservoir simulation models, analyze well data, and collaborate with geologists and other engineers to maximize reservoir recovery while minimizing production costs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze reservoir performance using data from production and well logs, and create reservoir models to predict future production.
  • Evaluate the economic viability of various reservoir development plans and recommend actions to optimize reservoir recovery.
  • Perform material balance calculations and pressure transient analysis to assess reservoir behavior.
  • Design well completions and recommend stimulation techniques to enhance production.
  • Work closely with geologists and drilling engineers to identify optimal drilling locations and strategies.

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related field.
